Belchinski Bani (Belchin Baths)

Belchinski Bani is a resort settlement in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the municipality of Samokov, Sofia county. It is situated in the skirts of Rila, at a distance of 55 km from the capital. The favorable natural benefits of the region determine it as a healthcare, climate and balneology center. The water is hyper thermal with temperature of 37-39 С. The mineral water (with temperature of 40-41.5° С) is suitable for treatment of diseases of: the locomotory system – arthritis, rheumatism, Behterev’s disease, bone fractures, tendinitis, etc.; diseases of the nervous system - radiculitis, sciatica, neuritis, plexitis; diseases of the female genitals; skin diseases – neurodermatitis, eczema, thrombophlebitis, prostatitis, etc.
