The following sites can be visited within one day from the town: the Melnik pyramids, the Karlanovski pyramids, Sandanski, the Memorial Temple “St. Petka of Bulgaria” – village of Rupite, Rupite, Samuil’s Fortress. The starting point can also be the city of Plovdiv, the town of Sandanski, Borovets or Pamporovo.
