The Thracian tomb in the village of Alexandro, dated in the second half of the IV century BC, is one of the largest facilities of its type. Unique paintings with various themes cover the chambers, the corridor and the entrance hall. The greatest variety of frescoes is to be found in the round chamber which is painted in six horizontal bands. Most of them depict hunting scenes. In 2009 in close proximity to the tomb was opened the Museum Center Thracian Art of the Eastern Rhodopes. Its construction was carried out with a grant from the Japanese government.
An idea of the Tourist Information Center in Haskovo makes possible a virtual sightseeing tour of the church in the village of Uzundjovo, too: http://www.haskovo.com/bg/church/
