Famous since ancient times, Pchelinski Bani is a balneology spa resort of national importance. It is located at a distance of 2 km north of the village of Pchelin and 8 km northwest of the town of Kostenets – www.kostenetz.com. The health complex falls within the catchment area of the Maritsa river, by covering the northern slopes of Cherni hill of Ihtimanska Sredna Gora, the eastern slopes of Shumnatitsa hill, the northeastern slopes of Rila mountain and the Kostenets valley.
The medicinal rehabilitation center Pchelinski Bani was established in the country because of its medicinal mineral water, which has a spring temperature of 72.8°С. It is suitable for the treatment of diseases of the locomotory system, the peripheral nervous system, gynecological and skin diseases. It activates metabolism, stimulates the healing processes in joint and muscular diseases. It helps in the case of allergic, skin, stomach and endocrine health problems.
Pchelinski Bani also offers a medical establishment for children, an open-air mineral pool with a beach, holiday establishments, hotels and villas, offering options for relaxation, sport, business meetings, conferences, educational seminars.
