For the ninth year, the unique project “Cultural evenings Traditions and Art” will take place for two months in Tourist Information Center. It becomes a forum of the Bansko culture and traditions. Citizens and guests will have the opportunity to participate in organized demonstrations and learn crafts and skills – spinning and pruning wool, knitting socks, embroidering souvenir balls, crochet, making souvenirs from fabrics, a demonstration of Bulgarian embroidery, carving and pottery demonstration. One of the attractions of the program is making a foundation for a loom in the museum Velyanova house.
The demonstrations are accompanied with local folklore musical formations from all the villages of Bansko Municipality. The local musical richness is expressed in authentic instruments, traditional songs from Bansko and the cultural heritage expressed in authentic costumes from the region.
Many local artists are transforming the lobby of the Tourist Information Center with exhibitions of painting, digital graphics, wood and plastic art, stained glass, icons, energy paintings, wrought iron and others.
