Every year, on the temple holiday of the Troyan Monastery on 15th August a 4-day Fair of Crafts is held. It is one of the largest craft assemblies in Bulgaria. The foundations were laid in the second half of the 18th century when craftsman from all over the country displayed their works around the walls of the Troyan Monastery.
In addition, to objects of folk arts and crafts, guests of the assembly can also buy practical ceramic dishes for the home, have fun at the specially organized attractions and enjoy traditional cuisine in the cool beer halls.
