Shumen hosts the 52nd edition of the oldest rally in Bulgaria “Old Capitals” 2023. This is the first Bulgarian rally, which has been held annually since 1970 as a round of the National Rally Championship of Bulgaria.
The competition will take place over two days – August 5 and 6, 2023.
The official opening and the Ceremonial Start – Arena “Shumen” will be at 12:30 p.m.
The idea of the organizers is to turn Arena Shumen into a kind of center of the competition. The awarding ceremony for the winners is scheduled for 14:00 and will take place on the steps in front of the central entrance of the Arena. After the final of the last stage “Valery Velikov”, there will be a 30-minute transition, during which the media and citizens will have the opportunity to contact the competitors, feel their mood, ask for autographs, so that there will be more celebration and emotion for both the competitors, as well as for the audience.
